Esun 3D printer cleaning filament
Esun has launched its first cleaning filament designed to clear out any material blockages in the extruder of a desktop 3D printer.
The material comes in a whitish colour and is reported to be the first 3D printing filament designed specifically to clean a 3D printer's extruder by moving the debris inside the nozzle.
The material is designed for the regular maintenance of a desktop 3D printer head and is available from Esun as a 1.75 mm diameter semi-transparent filament in sections of 150- 200mm in packs of 100 pieces.
The material's melting temperature range is between 150 and 260 degrees centigrade and its slight viscosity allows it to take any residual material out of the 3D printer nozzle without jamming. It achieves this thanks to its ability to withstand heat, so the cleaning rods can prevent blockages when switching between high and low-temperature 3D printing materials.
Esun is able to offer wholesale quotes for the cleaner filament via its website.
