Europac 3D will begin to sell and supply DSM’s additive manufacturing products to the UK market after partnering with the manufacturer.
DSM has made a name for itself in the 3D printing market for its comprehensive supply of stereolithography materials, and in more recent times solutions for material extrusion processes too. It’s last product launch was a carbon fibre filled filament, launched in September.
Other notable offerings include Somos Taurus, a durable material with a heat deflection temperature of 95°C, designed for prototyping or low volume end-use parts; Somos PerForm, a strong and stiff high-temperature resistant material suited to tooling applications; and Somos BioClear, a medical-grade material developed for printing customised clear guides and models in small runs.
The materials are open source and so can be used in the majority of SLA systems on the market. They will immediately be available in the UK through Europac 3D.
