German 3D printing solutions developer, German RepRap is lowering the barrier to entry for the 3D printing market by reducing its filament prices by more than 40 percent.
The company’s exclusive Premium PLA 1.75mm is now available at the reduced rate of 29.90 Euro per 750g spool. The "Made In Germany" stamped German RepRap Premium PLA is available in special batches boasting high accuracy between spools and more predictable print models.
To produce the material, German RepRap hired a team of specialist synthetics engineers to oversee quality control whilst developing the new filaments in a large range of colours.
German RepRap filament can be used in all open source 3D printers that use manufacturer-independent filament. In addition to this, German RepRap is one of the few resellers of large 2.1kg 1.75mm-filament spools and caters to the designer, architecture, education and maker markets.
Since 2010, German RepRap has been at the forefront of developing and retailing 3D printing solutions based on the RepRap technology from its home in Feldkirchen near Munich. The company’s increasing product line includes 3D scanners, filament, software and accessories and German RepRap was also the first company in the country to release a large-capacity 3D printer for professional users, the X400.
German RepRap Premium PLA is only available from the German RepRap online shop or from its worldwide network of accredited resellers.
