Global supplier of advanced technology metals and ceramics H.C. Starck, and advanced manufacturing company Rapid Prototype and Manufacturing (rp+m), have announced a joint endeavour to develop radical, innovative products for medical devices using the latest metal based 3D printing.
The agreement will combine H.C. Starck's strengths in fabrication of technology metals with rp+m's leading additive manufacturing and material development solutions. Together, the two companies plan to develop new materials, alloys and products using additive manufacturing for molybdenum or tungsten components for medical imaging.
