LPW Technology and AMA Services are to partner to supply metal powder solutions to French speaking countries in Europe and North Africa.
As LPW seeks to extend its support for customers internationally, AMA Services will represent the UK-based company in France, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, Tunisia and Morocco. The announcement was made while LPW Technology exhibited at last week’s formnext powered by TCT.
Together, the two companies will offer a comprehensive portfolio of metal powders to a range of new locations, while also being on-hand to provide technical support and proactive customer service. In recent years, LPW has successfully developed its capability to process an array of additive manufacturing metal powders, including aluminium, steel, nickel, cobalt and titanium alloys. AMA Services, meanwhile, has sufficient experience with metal alloy materials in the aerospace, IGT and medical sectors. The company has also represented US investment casting company, Cannon-Muskegon as its European executive agent and distributor for many years.
Customers in the aforementioned regions are set to benefit from the joining of two experienced companies, and have easy access to LPW’s PowderRange metal powders and its PowderSolve additive manufacturing quality control software program.
“This is an excellent opportunity for LPW to work with a knowledgeable and professional partner to support our clients, both current and new,” said Mike Ford, LPW’s Sales Director. “Our companies will work together to exceed customers’ expectations through short lead times, a comprehensive range of premium materials for aerospace and defence, and outstanding service and technical support.”
“Adding LPW’s high-quality metal powders and solutions to our portfolio enables us to offer a complete package to our AM customers,” AMA Services’ President, Mr Jean-Francois Donchery added. “With French safety-critical industries integrating AM technologies into their production cycles, the market is growing rapidly. Partnership with LPW allows us to provide competitive and effective products and services to support these sectors from our Paris-based facilities.”
