Model Solution, a rapid design, tooling and prototyping company, has announced the building of a new North American headquarters and rapid prototyping centre in Silicon Valley.
The centre has been developed to offer a more comprehensive, around-the-clock, support service to its customers.
Boasting rapid sketch and mock-up capabilities, as well as local project management and engineering support, the new facility strengthens Model Solution's ability to sufficiently meet customer requirements.
The opening of the new Silicon Valley facility follows the company’s existing global headquarters in Seoul, Korea. Now, the company feels ready to offer 24-hour global support for customers, including same-day technical support.
Established in 1993, Model Solution has been helping players in a variety of industries, from aerospace and automotive, to medical and consumer, to leverage modern technologies to bring time-saving and performance-enhancing capabilities to parts, products and devices. This new facility will enable its US customers to initiate projects with the company’s local team of experts. It includes highly trained engineers and project management professionals that simplify the evaluation, sketch and mock-up processes.
Danny Sung, the Director of Sales at Model Solution, believes the company’s expansion of itself, and its services, demonstrates its duty of support to its clientele."
The new Silicon Valley headquarters and rapid prototyping centre reflects Model Solution's growth in North America, and demonstrates our continued commitment to customers,” said Sung. “Between the Seoul Korea facility and the new facility in the United States, we now offer 24-hour service and support to shorten the design cycle and customer time-to-market."
Featuring advanced 3D printing and CNC machining capabilities, customers can utilise the centre to prototype objects and test their function. By combining the convenience and speed of additive manufacturing with the precision and accuracy of the company’s experienced operators, Model Solution can quickly and efficiently produce high-resolution prototypes and functional parts. To do this, the company will use three main 3D printer technologies: stereolithography (SLA), fused deposition modelling (FDM), and PolyJet.
Meanwhile, Model Solution’s rapid CNC milling and turning capabilities enable the production of the finest, most accurate visual design models, fully functioning engineering prototypes, and master patterns. The modern facility features five-axis CNC machines that speed up manufacturing and increase the accuracy of highly complex geometries while meeting tight tolerance demands.
