PostProcess Technologies
PostProcess Software Driven AM Post-Print Solutions
PostProcess Technologies has raised $20m in a Series B funding round and announced an expansion of its presence in Europe.
The round was led by Grand Oaks Capital and follows a $4m seed round funding in April 2017. This latest investment will be harnessed by PostProcess to enhance its hardware, chemistry and proprietary software offerings, with a focus being placed on data analytics and machine learning.
In Europe, PostProcess Technologies is increasing its footprint with a new facility and is expanding its European Channel Partner network with the addition of two new distributors. The company opened its European office just over 12 months ago and will now look to develop its FINISH3D Benchmarking Lab, supported by a grant from the Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur authorities. This facility will enable a benchmarking test capacity and act as a training centre for European customers, replicating what has already been set up at its headquarters in Buffalo, NY. Meanwhile, French engineering firm CYLAOS and KMC have been named as distributors of PostProcess’ support removal and surface finishing platforms in France and the Nordic region, respectively.
PostProcess Technologies believes these latest developments will help to enhance the service it provides to its customers in Europe and across the world.
“We made the decision to set up our offices and lab in Sophia-Antipolis to capitalise on the capacity of the area to attract international talent with strong technological expertise that can serve the development of our operations,” commented Bruno Bourguet, Managing Director of PostProcess Technologies International. “The area is also well-fitted to receive our global customers for demonstrations and training sessions, providing easy access through its international airport. We are very honoured that the Région Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur authorities have selected our expansion project in their support programme, as this will help accelerate our plans and solidify our presence in the territory.”
“Our automated solutions have proven mission-critical at over 100 companies and transformed the third step in the additive process,” added Jeff Mize, CEO at PostProcess Technologies. “The global demand continues to increase, and we are pleased with the rapid expansion of our team, channel partners and customer base in the EU.”
PostProcess Technologies will exhibit at Formnext in Hall 12.1, Stand B40 between November 19-22.
