Italian 3D printer manufacturer, Roboze has reached its first distribution agreement in Asia, by partnering with South Korean company, YES01.
As part of the agreement, Youngil Education System will be appointed as the company’s exclusive South Korea partner and resell its products throughout the country.
Established in 1997, YES01 is a manufacturer and supplier of training and educational equipment for the automotive, electronics, automation, renewable energy and welding sectors. YES01 has a commitment to offering its customers advanced technological solutions, including a wide selection of 3D printing technologies to high education institutes and heavy local industries. Taking on Roboze’s 3D technology will enhance this range.
The addition of the Roboze line of products comes to answer the growing needs of professional 3D printing users to adopt and implement advanced 3D printing technologies in manufacturing processes. Roboze prides its products on their ability to go beyond prototyping. Its line of products enables the use of advanced techno-polymers for producing durable components for extreme functional testing, and end-use replacement parts.
Based on a patent-pending HVP extruder (High Viscosity Polymers), Roboze’s unique technology has the ability to control and accelerate the extrusion process of high viscosity polymers such as PEEK, PEI and Carbon-PA. YES01 is excited at the prospect of being the sole supplier of this technology to South Korea.
“We are excited to partner with Roboze and bring its one-of-a-kind 3D printing technology to the Korea market,” said Y.J Park, YES01 President and CEO. “Roboze solutions will help us to support our customers in the adoption of 3D printing for advanced design and manufacturing applications. We believe Roboze solutions will serve this purpose well.”
In 2016 Roboze focused primarily on building the company’s distribution channels in EMEA, while GE added the Roboze One+400 to its range last month. Roboze is now moving forward, as planned, to target the Asia-Pacific and North American regions. In Korea, the company is particularly targeting leading industrial segments, such as automotive and electronics.
“We are honoured to launch our business in Asia in Korea, especially with a large and experienced company like YES01,” said Gil Lavi, Roboze’s Vice President of Global Sales. “Together, we plan to approach heavy and professional users of 3D printing technologies, and offer them new breakthrough capabilities which are not available today in the market.
“We will help them to implement our FFF 3D printing solutions in manufacturing, supporting their long-term mission to reduce costs, speed up design and functional testing processes, and above all to digitize manufacturing by producing end-use metal replacement parts.”
Roboze will join YES01 at the upcoming Intermold 2017 trade show at KINTEX, South Korea, from March 7th to March 11th. Together they will demonstrate the capabilities of the Roboze line of 3D technology.
