Shining 3D San Fran office
Shining 3D celebrates the grand opening of its San Francisco office.
Shining 3D has officially launched its new sales support office for the Americas in San Francisco, a continuation of its commitment to better serving its global range of customers.
Following the opening of the company’s EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) location in Stuttgart, Germany this time last year, the company not only celebrated the grand opening of the new office, but also unveiled a new product. The AutoScan-DS-EX Pro is a dental 3D scanner, lightweight and compact with a number of versatile functions, ‘outstanding’ scan speed, and integrated blue light and white light options.
Shining is headquartered in Hangzhou, Zheijiang, and has been in operation since 2004. It has established itself as a provider of a wealth of 3D printing and 3D scanning technology, and is now making moves to extend its presence across the world, supporting customers around the clock. The new San Francisco base will serve North America, Central America and South America, while the Stuttgart office takes care of the EMEA regions, and the company’s facilities in China catering for the Asian market.
“The new office for the Americas is the logical next step in Shining 3D’s internationalisation process,” commented Oscar Meza, Shining 3D’s VP of Global Sales & CEO Shining 3D Technology, Inc (USA). “Our new location in San Francisco puts us at the cultural, commercial, and technological centre of California, enabling us to draw on the professional talents and better serve both our resellers and end-users.”
The expansion into Germany and now the United States came after a five-year period of sustained growth for the Chinese company. One step at a time, Shining 3D is bidding to become a global leader in the 3D scanning and 3D printing fields, and per Shining 3D CEO, Li Tao’s comments last year, is planning to set up manufacturing facilities in Germany and the U.S. sooner rather than later.
