The da Vinci Jr 1.0 Pro, is a compact 3D printer for professionals.
Desktop 3D printer manufacturer, XYZprinting has today announced the launch of four new 3D printing technologies, available from this month.
The da Vinci Jr 2.0 Mix, da Vinci Jr 1.0 Pro, Nobel 1.0A and the UV Curing Chamber expand XYZ’s growing range of 3D printers, offering versatile, cost effective products for consumers to work, play and create. To be made available on both XYZprinting’s online store and Amazon.com, the new products are suitable for use at home and in the office.
Together, XYZprinting believe the new 3D printing solutions cater for every need, from customisation to precision.
“These additions to our 3D printing ecosystem provide consumers with a comprehensive range of products designed to meet every need,” said Simon Shen, CEO of XYZprinting and New Kinpo Group. “Whether it be personalisation like the ability to print dual PLA filament colours with the da Vinci 2.0; or accuracy that professionals require for prototypes with the Da Vinci Jr 1.0 Pro and Nobel 1.0A; or speed like the UV Curing Chamber brings to the post-printed process – users can look to XYZprinting when they need to scale the capability of their 3D printing.”
The da Vinci Jr 2.0 Mix, retailing at $449.95, is among the first 3D printers on the market to feature dual-PLA colour capabilities. Suitable for hobbyists and art designers, the new dual-feed with the single extruder module, enables a print to gradually change colour. Users can experiment with different filament colour types, using Multicolor Mode and Mixer Mode in the XYZware software.

Available at the same price, the da Vinci Jr 1.0 Pro, is a compact 3D printer for professionals. Compatible with 3rd party 1.745mm PLA filament, the da Vinci 1.0 Pro has adjustable temperature settings for the extruder nozzle. It is also compatible with a 0.3mm diameter extruder, made for the da Vinci Jr series and perfect for intricate printed projects, but must be purchased separately.
The Nobel 1.0A is a user-friendly, professional 3D printer which allows professionals, particularly jewellery designers, to achieve high-quality results at an affordable price. Retailing at $1,999.95 XYZ believe the Nobel 1.0A is one of the most cost-competitive SLA 3D printers on the market. The Nobel 1.0A enables precise details for 3D prints with complex geometries, thanks to its X/Y-axis print resolution of 0.13mm and a Z–axis resolution up to 0.025mm. Able to print in multi-coloured acrylic resins, flexible resins and castable resins, the Nobel can produce unique applications from durable prototypes to jewellery.
The fourth of XYZ’s new technologies, the UV Curing Chamber, is a quick-hardening and energy efficient UV chamber that works in tandem with products printed on the Nobel photosensitive, resin-based printing line. Available at $399.95, the Curing Chamber is compatible with most resin-printed products of SLA/ DLP printers and ensures smooth, quality prints.
XYZprinting will exhibit its new technologies, as well as its latest in robotics and STEM educational solutions, at Toy Fair 2017 from Booth #4514 at the Jacob Javitz Center. Onsite, the da Vinci miniMaker, the company’s first educational STEM and STEAM Toy 3D printer, the da Vinci 3D pen, and XYZrobot Diver, a programmable edutainment robot will be available for demos alongside XYZprinting’s Educational and Steam Curriculum packages.
