DyeMansion to launch compact Powershot post-processing system

DyeMansion is set to launch a compact Powershot system for cleaning and surfacing later this year.

The company's announcement coincides with the launch of HP’s new compact Multi Jet Fusion printing solution, which was unveiled at RAPID + TCT on Tuesday morning.

DyeMansion hopes to showcase the new solution at this year's Formnext. The new system, the company says, will bring its PolyShot technology to a 'broader range of users looking to implement industrial-quality cleaning and surfacing in their production environments.'

The new Powershot will sit alongside the DyeMansion VX1 vapour smoothing system and complement small-format powder bed printers, as well as facilities that 'have industrial-scale printers, but do not yet have the need for large-scale or highly automated cleaning and surfacing that the existing DyeMansion Powershot X or Powershot DUAL Performance offer.'

“Industrial-grade post-processing is no longer reserved for large-format, high-volume operations,” said Felix Ewald, CEO & Co-Founder of DyeMansion. “With this new Powershot, we are making DyeMansion Print-to-Product workflow available to a whole new segment of the market — without compromising on the quality and reliability our customers have come to expect.”

Per DyeMansion, the system is being developed in alignment with the needs of additive users, with the company ensuring it integrates seamlessly with the VX1 and compatible small-format printers as part of the broader DyeMansion Print-to-Product workflow.

“It’s really exciting to see DyeMansion bringing industrial-grade technology into a more accessible format, just as we are doing with the HP Multi Jet Fusion 1200 3D Printer Solution,” said Marc Garcia, Product Manager at HP. “This system will be a great companion to our HP MJF 1200.”
