ExOne GmbH and voxeljet GmbH are now operating as a single legal entity, entered in the German commercial register.
Headquartered in Gersthofen, the company will continue to operate as ExOne GmbH, with a company statement stating that 'more than three decades of industrial 3D printing experience has been brought under one roof, establishing a broader portfolio, combined expertise, and one point of contact.'
The companies were brought together by Anzu Partners in 2025, after the venture capital firm acquired assets of both companies in separate transactions. By combining their respective sand 3D printing technologies, teams, and contracts, Anzu suggested it was establishing a leader in industrial additive manufacturing.
On August 13, 2026, the two firms officially became one. ExOne says existing contracts, quotations and non-disclosure agreements remain valid, and established contracts remain available. Maintenance, spare parts supply and support continue without interruption. And while the firm will continue under the 'ExOne' name, the voxeljet brand will remain in use for the PMMA and High Speed Sintering products.
"A step of this scale does not succeed through contracts and notary appointments. It succeeds through people who learn new things and take on the work together," said Eric Bader, CEO ExOne Global Holdings. "No other team worldwide brings this much binder jetting expertise under one roof, and that is something our customers will notice in their production."
