The LulzBot annual hackerspace giveaway returns for its fourth year with 32 3D printers up for grabs to hackerspaces around the world.

Last year, Aleph Objects, Inc., the team behind the successful LulzBot desktop 3D printers, awarded 12 winners with LulzBot machines but 2015 is set to be the biggest giveaway yet with over 30 of the LulzBot Mini and LulzBot TAZ printers ready to be won.

To be in with a chance of winning, participants must own a community operated physical hackerspace and maintain a website or wiki. They must offer a basic set of tools or equipment and share LulzBot’s philosophy of sharing resources and knowledge to build and make things. To qualify, entrants must also actively use and contribute to free software and open source hardware projects and communities.

To enter, hackerspace owners simply fill out the application form explaining what their space would do with a LulzBot 3D printer and how they have contributed to Libre Innovation (Free software and open source hardware).

Previous winners are welcome to participate but schools, libraries and STEAM related organisations are not eligible to apply. Entries must be submitted by Sunday March 1, 2015 and winners will be selected by the LulzBot team and notified via email.
