Additional Artec Systems
The all new Artec Spider has landed! We have received and tested our demo system and are very impressed with the performance of this little scanner. It may be small — but perfectly formed, it contains electronics and optics capable of scanning fine detail, video, colour and can even be used with photogrammetry. Not bad for very competitively priced piece of equipment.
In addition to the MH, EVA and L scanners that Central Scanning have, the Spider fits into the range perfectly.
Artec ScanReference Photogrammetry
Until now, the Artec systems have used geometry based alignment and texture tracking alignment. The ability to integrate the ScanReference photogrammetry greatly enhances the scanning experience as we can now scan much larger objects accurately and quickly. Being photogrammetry users, Central Scanning are in a very good position to be able to maximise the benefits and provide high level training and support for any clients interested in this additional product.
In house 3D printing
At Central Scanning, we like to continually invest in the growth of our business to be able to provide our customers with a better service and this year, we invested in our very own Objet Eden 500V 3D Printer and have been very pleased with its performance and accuracy as have our customers. We have decided to have a joint stand at TCT and are on stand G24 with Tri-tech 3D who we have known for several years and between us, we can offer 3D printer hardware sales (Tri-tech3D), 3D printer bureau work and 3D scanning inspection, reverse engineering and 3D systems sales via Central Scanning.
Steinbichler Systems
We have increased our Steinbichler capability and will have one of the best in class Steinbichler L3D systems on our stand a TCT where we will be able to provide you with a live demo.

Artec EVA, Artec Spider, Steinbichler L3D, 3D Printers and our skilled engineers to speak to who use and understand all of the above on a daily basis.
