ROMI & Sculpteo additively manufacture several fashion pieces for latest Jean Paul Gaultier collection

Fashion designer ROMI has leveraged Sculpteo's 3D printing capacity to create several elements for the A/W 2026-27 Jean Paul Gaultier collection.

Sculpteo supported the creation of five looks in the collection, with varying levels of involvement.

For four of the five key looks, Sculpteo manufactured the 3D-printed structures that give the silhouettes their sculptural volume and innovative lines, while for the white scale-covered dress, Sculpteo printed all the individual scales, which were subsequently hand-sewn onto the garment by the fashion house’s studio.

All Sculpteo-provided components were produced using Multi Jet Fusion technology from HP, some in the lightweight and durable PA12, and others in the flexible and more comfortable TPU.

Sculpteo advised and assisted ROMI throughout the project. The company helped to select the most suitable materials, supported the design of cutouts and assemblies required to create the large-scale pieces, and then manufactured the final parts.
