3D Printer With 16 Colors - Minecraft Invention
This next story is a bit like something from the Christopher Nolan baffling blockbuster, Inception. The computer game Minecraft, which spawned the 3D printing craze Printcraft now has a 3D printer built inside the game, so you could theoretically virtually 3D print anything and then actually 3D print it in real life.
Using chests as layers and sixteen types of coloured wool as material YouTuber ItsJustJumby has created an incredibly complex 3D printer in the sandbox environment game.
Each chest represents a slice and when you open that chest this acts as a control panel for you to alter the parameters of that layer. The system seems simple enough but when you watch the video and it starts to explain what goes on in the background your mind will be well and truly blown!
