The DLP Station 5 to be unveiled at formnext powered by TCT 2017.
Dutch 3D manufacturing company, atum3D has announced it will make three product launches at the upcoming formnext powered by TCT, including its latest 3D printing platform.
Following a successful debut at the Frankfurt-based trade fair, atum3D returns this year to unveil the DLP Station 5 machine, its Operator Station software, and the Industry Excellence Packs.
At last year’s formnext, atum3D unveiled the DLP Station 4. A year on, it is set to introduce the latest version of the Digital Light Processing-powered 3D printer. It is said to offer a new level of speed, accuracy and consistency, thanks to a new, specially designed, high-power light source. Depending on the application and properties of the material being used, the DLP Station 5 is available in standard 405nm wavelength version, as well as a 365nm wavelength version. These supplement the open resin platform, meaning a wider range of materials can be used – some materials can only be supported when using 365nm curing resins. The new Operator Station Software, meanwhile, which includes atum3D’s MAGS AI technology, optimises and speeds up build preparation and post processing.
The Industry Excellence Packs holds significant value for potential customers, according to atum3D. The Industry Excellence Packs have been developed to formally introduce 3D manufacturing to existing businesses and are industry-specific. They detail how customers can combine atum3D hardware, software, resin and services effectively. So far, atum3D has designed packs for Product Design, Dentistry, Jewellery, and Manufacturing, with more likely to follow in the near future.
“We can’t wait to showcase the results of our team’s hard work in Frankfurt,” said Guy Nyssen, Channel Manager at atum3D. “It’s fitting that all three pillars on which atum3D is built, being our in-house expertise in the fields of hardware engineering, software development, and resin chemicals, all contributed to the innovations show at formnext. We strive to offer exceptional accuracy, speed and cost effectiveness and make our customer’s life easy through training, services and support. The new DLP Station, Operator Station software and Industry Excellence Packs do just that.”
atum3D will present the three new products from Hall 3.1 Booth C78 at formnext powered by TCT.
