Solidoodle Party
Amongst a sea of your competitors sponsoring a specific event how do you stand out? How do you differentiate yourself from all the other exhibitors? Well, as R Kelly once penned, “After the show it’s the after party”, how about hosting the one place everyone wants to be? Solidoodle are doing just that!
A nice move from Sam Cervantes and co. who seemed conspicuous by their absence from the Inside 3D Printing Expo held in their own back yard this month. Now not only will they will be exhibiting at the show along with MakerBot, PP3D, Formlabs and various other desktop 3D printers, but they will be hosting a VIP event at their pop up store “Solispace” which opens its doors to the public the very next day.
Solidoodle CEO Sam Cervantes tells us, ”I am looking forward to Inside 3d Printing Conference establishing itself as the premier 3d printing conference in the nation. I am honored to be a part of this spectacular event,”.
Solidoodle have a habit of sneaking in a little bit of extra juice into their press releases; last time we heard from the Brooklyn based 3D printers they not only announced they were taking over the USSR but also planned to help out in the space race to Mars. This time out Solidoodle have also announced the creation of the Imagine it Foundation, a non profit organization geared towards using the Solidoodle 3D Printer to help solve some of the world’s most pivotal medical needs such as those affecting the blind and the disabled.
Big claims from the company which launched their first fully formed model a year ago this month.
