Faro Tech Design ScanArm
Faro Technologies is the latest TCT Show exhibitor to tease what it will be exhibiting at the 22nd edition of our annual UK-based event.
The 3D measurement technology firm will pitch up at Stand G18 on the 26th September and remain there for the duration. With its global headquarters located in Lake Mary, Florida, Faro has divisions in 18 countries across four continents.
In September, it will send its UK contingent to Hall 3 of the NEC Arena, Birmingham, to present many of its ‘cutting-edge’ metrology products.
“TCT Show is the event for Product Development and Additive Manufacturing in Europe,” a Faro Technologies press release reads. “It is an essential event for everyone involved in the concept, design, specification and manufacturing process to learn about the latest in additive manufacturing and other cutting edge product development software and technology.”
Among Faro’s array of products presented at the TCT Show will be the Design ScanArm, a portable 3D scanning solution tailored for 3D modelling, reverse engineering, and CAD-based design applications across the product lifecycle management (PLM) process. It features optically-superior blue laser technology with fast scanning speed, enabling users to achieve high-resolution point cloud data. It also houses the ability to seamlessly scan challenging materials without the need for spray or targets. Lightweight and easily manoeuvrable, the Design ScanArm is convenient for desktop mounting in a design studio or engineering lab. And with a simplified user interface, Faro believe experts and novices alike will be able to operate the scanner with ease.
The 22nd TCT Show will run from September 26th – September 28th at Birmingham’s NEC Arena.
