MachineWorks Polygonica software update TCT Show
The Polygonica v2.1 software will be showcased, demonstrated and the focus of David Turner's presentation on the TCT Product Stage
MachineWorks Simulation Software is to display and demonstrate its new Polygonica v2.1 platform at the upcoming TCT Show in September.
Polygonica is the company’s software development toolkit for the processing of polygon meshes, and the updated version includes a number of new and improved features. The advanced software program was developed to serve software and hardware manufacturers who tackle complex geometrical operations, like mesh healing, mesh modelling, mesh analysis, quality-based remeshing, 3D Booleans, and solid offsetting.
Able to create their own software applications, 3D printing manufacturers can have a greater control over their Intellectual Property, gain quicker access to market, and add value for their customers. Manufacturing companies to have utilised the Polygonica brand include 3D Systems, Stratasys, Desktop Metal, ANSYS Spaceclaim and Renishaw. The latter company, via David Turner, Software Development Manager, will give a presentation on their experience with Polygonica on the TCT Show Product Stage. Turner will focus on Renishaw’s implementation of Polygonica within Renishaw’s new ADEPT software for the design and printing of maxillofacial implants.
Richard Baxter, Polygonica Sales Manager at MachineWorks, is confident that the software provides solutions for some of the 3D printing industry’s leading players, with one of those companies detailing their success at the 2017 TCT Show.

David Turner will speak on behalf of MachineWorks at 14.30-14.50 on Wednesday 27th September on the TCT Product Stage. MachineWorks will showcase and demo the Polygonica v2.1 in Hall 3, Stand E44 for the duration of the TCT Show, which takes place from September 26th – September 28th.
