Mcor has announced CREAT3D as a reselling partner for the company's ARKe desktop 3D printing system at TCT Show.
Following their partnership, CREAT3D will be demonstrating the ARKe's capabilities live from its booth, Stand C56 for the remainder of the event.
The ARKe 3D printer enables users to print industry-standard colour products that are said to both reliable and safe. Always looking to add printers to its vast range, CREAT3D is excited to supply the ARKe to its customer base. The Berkshire-based company will also provide training, support and printing services across England and Wales focusing on industry and third-level customers.
"We are thrilled to add the Mcor ARKe to our 3D printer offering," said Simon Chandler, Managing Director of CREAT3D. "Our customers seek full colour 3D printing at an affordable price and the ARKe best meets this need. We look forward to expanding our range further by offering the full colour desktop 3D printer."
"CREAT3D brings deep expertise in providing 3D printing solutions to the market," said Dr Conor MacCormack, Co-Founder and CEO of Mcor Technologies. "Together we look forward to collaborating on new ways to make full colour 3D printing more accessible to all."
Meanwhile, Mcor will also be providing a live demo of the Sony Xperia XZ1 3D Scanning app. Sony introduced the app at IFA 2017 in Berlin, and soon after Sculpteo revealed it would offer a 3D printing service in line with it. At TCT Show, Mcor will display how the app can work in tandem with the ARKe 3D printer.
"Sony's 3D Creator app will certainly open the market for full colour 3D printing by providing an accessible scanner that produces high quality files - essentially 1,000 scans in your pocket," MacCormack commented. "We see this as a driver for full colour 3D printing and our technology in an industrial and consumer setting because now there is a scanner to hand that can match our full colour 3D printing capability."
