Massivit 3D Printing Technologies has launched its 1800 Pro machine, delivering enhanced functionality and expanding the company’s portfolio.
It has been debuted at the Shanghai International Ad & Sign Technology & Equipment Exhibition, and like the 1800 Flagship and 1500 Experimentation systems before it, has been designed to produce large signs, displays, and other showcase props.
The Massivit 1800 Pro promises increased resolution and durability of parts, while the printing process is said to offer enhanced cost effectiveness. Massivit’s latest product has been built on the 1800 Flagship machine it launched back in 2016. It features a patented Variable Resolution feature, which enables the resolution level and layer thickness to be changed during the printing of a model, according to the varying requirement of different sections of the part, via the Massivit Smart Pro software. Additionally, the new Mega Quality resolution optimises gel consumption and printing time, amounting to a more efficient production workflow. A new remote operation capability allows the user to operate the machine and monitor print progress via a tablet.
Massivit say the 1800 Pro will supplement the support it offers to service providers looking to expand their offering, taking their business into new markets, and fulfilling orders in an efficient manner.
“The Massivit 1800 Pro is the next generation of large format 3D printers with enhanced efficiency, flexibility and control,” commented Amir Veresh, VP of Marketing and Business Development. “It’s all-new Mega Quality mode, Variable Resolution capability, and remote monitoring offer cost effective and reliable production and repeatability.”
