Foster + Partners is an internationally acclaimed architectural practice whose work embraces everything from city masterplanning to product design. Due to our continuous expansion, we have a number of opportunities for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join our Modelshop.
Assistant Modelmaker (Ref: LAM0313)
The post holder will be responsible for assisting in the production of high quality models, prototypes and mock-ups in addition to preparing exhibition and presentation materials. The successful candidate will need a qualification in modelmaking.
Successful applicants will be involved in constructing models of some of the most exciting buildings being designed in the world today and must therefore have a high level of skill and craftsmanship. Applicants must also have a good working knowledge of workshop machinery, CAD, laser cutting and CNC operation, as well as proficiency in all relevant tools and power equipment.
