Cave Holdings expands fleet of ROBOZE 3D printers with installation of ARGO 1000 HYPERMELT machine

Advanced manufacturing service provider Cave Holdings USA is set to install an ARGO 1000 HYPERMELT additive manufacturing system to expand its fleet of ROBOZE 3D printers.

Cave Holdings is already operating one upgraded ARGO 500 HYPERSPEED unit and six ARGO 500 machines.

The additional ARGO 1000 HYPERMELT, per ROBOZE, strengthens Cave Holding’s ability to address both high-performance and large-format production requirements.

Cave Holdings is said to have identified additive manufacturing as a critical capability for 'supporting operations in challenging environments isolated by high-cost or low-reliability supply chains.' The decision to add more additive manufacturing capability has been driven by the 'potential of ROBOZE systems to support advanced polymer manufacturing in real-world industrial applications.'

Providing greater supply chain resilience, enabling on-demand manufacturing, and unlocking increased design flexibility are all said to have been key considerations for Cave Holdings, with the company serving customers in energy, aerospace and defence.

“For us, this isn’t about experimenting; it’s about pushing additive manufacturing into real production environments where performance truly matters," said Angela Kilic-Cave, President, Cave Holdings USA Inc. "We’ve invested heavily in building this capability because we see the long-term value, not just in speed, design flexibility and rapid prototyping, but in transforming how complex components are manufactured in challenging operating conditions. As we continue refining our processes, the goal is clear: scalable, reliable production that delivers measurable impact for our customers.”

“At ROBOZE, we see more companies moving beyond experimentation and scaling additive as a core production technology. Cave Holdings USA Inc. demonstrates how additive manufacturing can be deployed in complex environments while driving continuous improvement in performance and production capability,” added Alessio Lorusso, Founder & CEO of ROBOZE.
