Meltio establishes several partnerships to bolster presence in US defence sector

Meltio has secured partnerships with several entities operating under regulatory and quality frameworks, such as ITAR Registration, Type 7 FFL, SAM Registration, and ISO 9001:2015 compliance, to strengthen its presence in the US defence sector.

Complementing its own ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 certified quality and environmental management systems, Meltio believes it will be able to deliver consistent performance, reliability, and sustainability to defence customers.

Among the key partners that Meltio has aligned with are Force Automation, Snowbird Technologies, Phillips Corporation, and Fastech LLC.

Force Automation operates under ITAR Registration, Type 7 FFL, and SAM Registration, and supports advanced manufacturing integration for defence and industrial applications.

Snowbird Technologies is ISO 9001:2015 certified, NIST 800-171 compliant, and operates under CMMC Level 1 requirements. It has supported the US Department of Defence for 30 years and provides deployable additive manufacturing capabilities.

Phillips Corporation, through its Phillips Federal division, is ITAR-registered, ISO 9001-certified, and operates in accordance with CMMC Level 1 cybersecurity requirements. The company delivers hybrid, deployable, and expeditionary manufacturing solutions to US Government and defence industrial base customers.

And Fastech LLC operates under ISO 9001:2015 and is registered with the US Department of State under ITAR, serving as a US reference sit for Meltio technology. The company uses Meltio M600 systems and robotic cell configurations for demonstration, training, and production services for defence and industrial customers.

“Defence organisations are increasingly prioritising manufacturing sovereignty, resilience, and readiness across distributed environments,” said Jon Grubb, Defence Industry Strategy Manager at Meltio. “Meltio technology, combined with our network of qualified in the United States, enables secure and flexible metal part production where it is needed most, supporting mission readiness and reducing dependency on traditional supply chains.”
