ROBOZE appoints retired military officer as Senior Aerospace & Defence Advisor for Singapore

ROBOZE has appointed Timothy Yap as Senior Aerospace & Defence Advisor for Singapore.

Yap will support ROBOZE's growth across the aerospace, defence, and advanced manufacturing sectors, helping strengthen strategic relationships with government agencies, defence organisations, research institutions, industry leaders, and key OEMs throughout Singapore and the broader Asia-Pacific region.

He is said to bring extensive experience in developing partnerships between industry and defence stakeholders, with a strong focus on innovation, advanced technologies, and capability development. A retired military officer, Yap has worked closely with organisations across Singapore's aerospace, defence, and industrial ecosystem, supporting collaboration initiatives that bridge emerging technologies with national strategic priorities.

"Singapore has become one of the world's most advanced hubs for aerospace, defence, and advanced manufacturing innovation. Timothy's deep understanding of the local ecosystem, combined with his ability to connect industry, technology, and government stakeholders, makes him a valuable addition to our advisory team as we continue expanding our presence in the region," said Alessio Lorusso, Founder & CEO of ROBOZE.

In his role, Yap will be tasked with identifying strategic opportunities for ROBOZE's autonomous manufacturing technologies across defence, aerospace, critical infrastructure, and national industrial resilience initiatives. He will also support the development of partnerships aimed at accelerating the adoption of qualified advanced manufacturing technologies throughout Singapore and Southeast Asia.

"Manufacturing capability is increasingly becoming a strategic national asset. ROBOZE's vision of autonomous manufacturing, combining advanced materials, qualified production processes, and AI-powered software, aligns strongly with the growing need for resilient and localised industrial capabilities. I am excited to contribute to the company's growth and help expand its impact across the region," added Yap.
