Established UK 3D printing bureau Digits 2 Widgets (D2W) have partnered up with The London Design Festival to show you what you really CAN print with the additive manufacturing process.
Leading up to the exhibition, which runs from 14th – 22nd September 2013, D2W are giving you the chance to design them something wonderful, the best designs will be printed and finished before being displayed as part of the festival.
In order to reflect the manufacturing advancements of the 3D printing process your design should be practically impossible to produce using traditional manufacturing methods.
Digits 2 Widgets are at the forefront of this technology, they have a reputation for only printing parts and products of the highest quality. In order to help you understand how this new tool differs from traditional tools, they will be hosting an open evening on Thursday 8th August between 6pm and 9pm.
The team at D2W are a very helpful bunch and they are looking forward to displaying the most innovative designs that come their way. The exhibition will be opened with a seminar at D2W’s new Camden Town HQ on the 14th September at 7pm. The exhibition space will be open weekdays 10am – 5:30pm and weekends from 11am – 6pm. We’re sure it is not one to be missed.
