Velo3D is now a participating member of the Government-Industry Data Exchange Program (GIDEP).
GIDEP is a cooperative information-sharing program between the US government and industry that provides participating organisations access to critical technical, quality, reliability and supply-chain information. The program helps members identify potential issues, reduce risk and improve the performance and reliability of products supporting government and defence programs.
Velo3D says that participation supports its existing quality, reliability and supply-chain risk-management processes for its defence manufacturing activities.

"GIDEP gives Velo3D access to critical information shared across government and industry, complementing the quality and risk-management processes that support our defence manufacturing activities."
The company's participation in GIDEP supplements Velo3D's growing service to the defence sector. In recent months, Velo3D has been awarded a 9.8 million USD contract by the Department of War for the production of replacement parts and an additional 32.6 million USD contract to support a major DoW weapons program.
