Boston Micro Fabrication (BMF) will present its recently launched microArch S150 3D printer to the European market for the first time this November.
The company, which specialises in micro-precision 3D printing, will debut the system at Formnext in Frankfurt where it will be running live on stand Hall 12.1, #B51.
Designed to be 'desktop-friendly' and built on BMF’s Projection Micro Stereolithography (PµSL) technology, the compact microArch S150 delivers 25µm optical resolution and layer thicknesses from 10–100µm and is geared towards applications in microfluidics, fiber optics, biomedical devices, electronics, and advanced materials research. It made its North American live debut at RAPID + TCT in April and is already commercially available.
The launch comes as BMF marks its ten year anniversary. Bryan Ferrand, President of Boston Micro Fabrication, commented, "Reaching our tenth anniversary is an important milestone for BMF and gives us an opportunity to reflect on how far micro-precision 3D printing has come, as well as where it can go next. The S150 is a great example of that progress, bringing industrial-grade micro-precision capabilities to a compact, accessible platform."
At the end of last year, BMF also teased the possibility of a new 2-10µm dual-resolution 3D printer in 2026, having already installed the system with several customers in Asia. While that launch is yet to materialise, the company announced a series of leadership changes back in July to support its next phase of growth, which saw the departure of CEO John Kawola and Ferrand assuming the role of President.
