The joint venture (JV) between 3D Systems, Dussur (Saudi Arabian Industrial Investments Company), and Saudi Energy has been granted a Military Manufacturing License by the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) of Saudi Arabia.
This license authorises the National Additive Manufacturing and Innovation Company (NAMI) to engage in regulated military manufacturing activities in Saudi Arabia.
3D Systems, Dussur and Saudi Energy launched the JV in 2022 to support the military aerospace and defence, oil and gas, and energy generation and transmission markets. This license will now strengthen its service to these sectors, enabling more efficient collaboration with international defence original equipment manufacturers on the qualification and production of critical aerospace and defence components in the Kingdom. It will also help Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objective of localising more than 50 per cent of military spending by 2030
