ROBOZE has acquired the key assets of a digital platform specialising in spare parts digitisation and distributed manufacturing.
The purchase of Dimanex, the company says, marks a pivotal step in its strategy to build a fully interconnected, intelligent manufacturing ecosystem powered by Physical AI.
ROBOZE has also said it expects the acquisition to 'accelerate the transition from centralised production models to resilient, on-demand manufacturing networks.' Users, the company suggests, can expect reduced downtime and enhanced supply chain resilience.
Dimanex's capabilities will be integrated with ROBOZE's Pandora and SlizeR software products, creating a unified platform whereby data can continuously be exchanged through the cloud. The combined platform is set to enable intelligent machines that are powered by advanced algorithms and optimise production parameters and performance in real time. It should also make interconnected factories that share data across locations more feasible, creating a distributed manufacturing network 'capable of responding dynamically to demand.' Users will also be able to coordinate digital workflows and physical production assets seamlessly, while digitising their global warehouses and inventories to facilitate on-demand production.
Customers in maritime, defence, oil and gas, and aerospace are likely to benefit from this acquisition, ROBOZE says.
“We are moving beyond standalone machines into intelligent, connected manufacturing systems,” said ROBOZE CEO Alessio Lorusso. “This acquisition brings physical AI into production environments, where machines learn, adapt and operate as part of a global network. The result is a more resilient and efficient manufacturing system with reduced dependence on centralised hubs to deliver critical components with speed and at scale.
“Roboze is tackling systemic challenges in the industrial base like long lead times and physical inventory constraints. We are connecting the physical and digital worlds of manufacturing, from the identification of a part in a warehouse, to its qualification, to its production anywhere in the world, this entire process becomes intelligent, automated and interconnected.”
Dimanex was declared bankrupt earlier this year. Financial details of ROBOZE's acquisition of its assets have not been disclosed.
