Sinto secures ISO certification for 3D printing of technical ceramics

Sinto Advanced Ceramics Europe GmbH has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification, confirming its quality and robustness for the additive manufacturing of technical ceramic components.

It follows the acquisition of Bosch Advanced Ceramics by Japan's Sintokogio Group last November, which has seen the company operating under the Sinto brand since January 1, 2026. Conducted by TÜV SÜD, the audit reaffirms the certification, which the 3D printed ceramics specialist had previously held under its former guises since 2017, first CeriX and then Bosch Advanced Ceramics.

In a press release, the company said no non-conformities were identified during the audit, and the ISO 9001:2015 certificate (No. G951 26 0419) is valid from 24 July 2026 to 23 July 2029.

"The successful certification demonstrates that we have seamlessly maintained our high quality standards throughout the ownership transition," said Dejan Licinovic, Quality Manager at Sinto Advanced Ceramics Europe GmbH, who led the certification process. "Completing the audit without a single non-conformity is a strong reflection of the quality of our processes and the commitment of our entire team."

Managing Director Nikolai Sauer added, "I would like to sincerely thank all our colleagues who work every day to uphold and continuously improve our high quality standards. We would also like to thank our customers for their trust and confidence. This successful certification reinforces our commitment to being a reliable partner for the additive manufacturing of technical ceramics, now as part of the Sintokogio Group."
