3DP Unlimited, large build printer manufacturer, is bringing its industrial strength large format 3D printer, the 3DP1000 to this year’s TCT Show.
The machine features a build area of 1 m x 1 m x 0.5 m making it a suitable choice amongst architectural firms, engineers and product developers producing large scale, accurate prototypes.
At a low price point of $20,000, the 3DP1000 is reducing the barrier for entry into large format 3D printing.
The 3DP1000 has been tested to steadily produce high quality Fused Filament Fabrication output with layer resolutions under 100 microns. With parent company, PBC Linear’s 30 years of experience in industrial strength linear motion and mechatronics, the 3DP1000 ensures consistent quality performance.
“3DP Unlimited is a company that has put mechatronic advances to work in building its robust large format 3D printers,” said Mark Huebner, Market Development Manager of 3DP Unlimited. “With a build area of 1 m x 1 m x 0.5 m, it is critical that 3DP use mechatronic advantages, such as robust linear actuators and controls from PBC Linear, to maintain high performance.”
The 3DP Unlimited booth will exhibit an on-going live demonstration of large format 3D printing alongside a collection of never-before-seen large 3D print samples.
Visitors to the TCT Show 2014 can see the 3DP1000 in action from 30th September to 2nd October 2014 at the NEC Birmingham.
