Bambu Lab launches A2L 3D printer for larger creative projects

Bambu Lab has announced the launch of a new larger format A-series 3D printer.

The A2L comes with a 330 × 320 × 325 mm build volume capable of producing bigger parts with a print speed of 500 mm/second - good news for cosplayers, hobbyists or print farms looking to print larger pieces in a single job. It's being positioned as a 'creative playground', ideal for families, for building household items, and creating large props, without the need for glueing several pieces together.

Bambu Lab describes the system as “essentially an H2S Lite”, meaning it offers professional-level capabilities at a more accessible price point. Some of those capabilities include:

  • Closed-Loop PMSM Servo Motor for stable power delivery during high-speed printing while actively monitoring extrusion anomalies.
  • Adaptive Vibration Compensation: first in Bambu Lab lineup with multi-point calibration and load adaptation, eliminating ghosting and ringing artefacts when printing tall, heavy models by dynamically adapting vibration compensation parameters.
  • Integrated Granular Dampers: two dampers physically absorb resonance for visibly improved final print surfaces.
  • Comprehensive Detection System: physical blob detector, PMSM extrusion monitoring, filament runout detection, nozzle clog detection, and tangled spool detection ensure reliable unattended printing

It's also said to be super quiet and can be upgraded with expansion modules including Blade Cutting and Pen Plotting. Up to four AMS units and AMS Lite units can also be added to enable printing with up to 19 colours in 'non-engineering' filaments such as PLA and PETG.

The A2L and A2L Combo paired with the AMS Lite will be available globally starting June 1, 2026 with prices starting at 379 EUR and 489 EUR respectively.
