netfabb Studio 4.2 is now available for download. The 4.2 version includes improvements, bug fixes and new functions that make netfabb an even more user friendly and economic solution for additive manufacturing. The general user interface is enhanced by simplifying and making some command more logical and intuitive.
Among the more noteworthy changes are:
- improved inch support including inch-to-mm / mm-to-inch conversion
- improved SSL export and SSL preview for FDM users
- PNG export
- improvements in CLS, SLC and CLI export
- 3D offset
- improved file repair including new function for triangle refinement
- calculations can be paused, resumed and canceled
- improvements in conversion of slice files back to STL
- support for faces in 3S cells
- library of standard 3S structures included in 3S
Update your netfabb Studio at any time to take advantage of the new and enhanced functionality. Updates are initiated in the Help menu under "Update netfabb".
